I enjoyed the interview and felt it did a great job of capturing who you are Don and Alison. Two thoughts on the interview: one, Ubud is also one of my all time favorite places; two, I first read Julia Cameron when I was camped in Mulege on the Baja Peninsula in 2000. I’ve kept a daily journal ever since. –Curt

You’ve been keeping a daily journal since 2000?! That’s impressive. Don still does – every day. Julia Cameron changed our lives that’s for sure.

Question for you Alison. You and I are about the same age. I travelled in a truck with a group from SUNY- Binghamton through parts of South America. I’m the one who commented recently, having been an archaeologist in Peru. Just wondering if we were on the same truck. Lucy

Oh for sure I would remember you if we’d been in the same group. I travelled with a company called Encounter Overland from Sept to Dec ’78.

Wonderful interview. You give up ambition and see what happens. Love the part about what you have learned. Interesting how none of it has to do with knowledge; it all has to do with experiential wisdom. So grateful for the lessons. Keep on keeping on. {{{hugs}}} kozo

Thanks Kozo. We had fun doing it. We feel that this whole way of life has been an enormous gift for both of us. As I said in the other comment to you – it’s all about presence training, and becoming more and more openhearted, and less and less personal. We feel we are being done.
